1960 Andrea Chénier — Corelli, Tebaldi, Bastianini (Remastered)

Highlights from the live recording of *Giordano’s _Andrea Chénier_* from *July 26, 1960 in Vienna,* one of the greatest operatic documents ever made. *Franco Corelli* as Andrea Chénier himself, *Renata Tebaldi* as Maddalena de Coigny, and *Ettore Bastianini* as Carlo Gérard. Lovro von Matačić conducts the Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper). All recorded and preserved in gorgeous mono sound. I have used the Orfeo edition, the best available pressing, and further re-equalized then stereoized the audio to give you the best possible listening experience.
