Free piano improvisations at home. Just me, my Steinway, and you. It's like a journey without a destination — the pleasure of wandering freely, following the feeling of the moment. Unique. Just now. Every session begins the same way — I place my hands on the keys, one note, then another, and I let my imagination lead. No plan. No setlist. No idea where the music will take me. First, melodies appear — melodies I've never played before, born from nothing, from this exact moment. I follow them, shape them, develop them, and lose myself in them. And then, something unexpected happens. Old friends show up. A classical theme I've known for years. A jazz standard. A piece of traditional music. A film score. Something I loved and forgot I loved. They don't arrive because I called them — they arrive because the music invited them. A particular cadence, a fleeting intonation, a harmonic turn... and suddenly, there they are, as if they'd been waiting just offstage. Inevitable. Obvious. Like they belonged there all along. That's what makes these sessions feel alive to me. I never know who I'll meet along the way. This is improvisation not as a technique, but as a way of listening — to the piano, to the moment, and to whatever wants to emerge. No score. Just music. Just this.
