Adon HaSelichot is one of the oldest known jewish prayers, liturgical poems, in the canon of High Holiday prayers. In Sephardic communities, the piyut is at the center of the Selichot service, recited daily, until after Yom Kippur. The piyut has become well known across the Jewish communities of Israel, and is sung in most synagogues. The poem, written in acrostic form, focuses on God's omniscience and awareness of the sins and failings of every human. Shalom Aleichem is an old Jewish prayer sung around the Shabbat dinner table every week, praying to God and his angels (Malachei Ha Shalom) to bring peace upon us. Ladino Violin is a Sephardic medley with the most beautiful songs in the ancient Jewish-Spanish culture . The language of the songs is Ladino spoken by the Jewish people in Spain before the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492. Those who did not convert to Catholicism spread in Europe and kept the melodies and songs within the families through centuries in countries such as Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria and more. Today the Sephardic culture is being preserved in Israel and around the globe. This is a very exciting Violin Instrumental version. Enjoy Tania Vinokur, Virtuoso Violinist is all over the globe and has created a sound signature second to none. Her mesmerising performance draws the inspiration for her music from Sephardic, Ethnic, Classical, Electronic and Pop music.
