ÆRO played music throughout his childhood, he produced eight full albums, performed twice at the Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Festival, and made a friend of Seymour Duncan who customized his guitar sound for him. He met a lot of rock stars. I loved his love for what he was doing, but I kept him at arm's length from the industry itself. Being in California we were close to where the success was happening, but I felt that minors weren't particularly safe in the entertainment industry. We composed songs together. ÆRO would talk to me about what he wanted the subject of his songs to be, and I would write lyrics for him. But, the musical composition was his entirely. He was interested in many styles of Rock-Music, but his albums have a consistency within themselves: a good example is his moody and spooky album "The Ghosts Swing In Hiss". He culminated his recording efforts with the down and dirty final album "Bongo Cowboz".
