For Pride this year I wanted to do something different. Taking inspiration from the 'Now That's What I Call" compilation albums and the capitalism that happens during Pride Month, I wanted to release a mixtape that is both poking fun at the "yass queen" trope as well as also having some deep cuts that make sense together. In short, I wanted this to be Camp As Fuck. I was imagining as I was making these mashups all the Drag proformers that would lipsync and perform these; tayloring it to their performances. This project is dedicated to them and my pure love to the camp nature of Drag mixes/numbers. These are scary times for our community especially towards Drag performers out there so even though I made this project for FREE...whatever y'all donate, I will be donating the proceeds to the ACLU Drag Defense Fund. Since bandcamp can't directly donate the money, I will do so myself at the end of every month starting the end of June! Hope y'all enjoy! 💕 credits
