Gin and Tonic started off as a joke — I told my sister I wanted to go to Korea and get a full facelift because I was tired of my face and lowkey jealous of how flawless Koreans look. 😂 That joke turned into an idea… then a character… and suddenly, I created J!N (진) — my fictional K-pop alter ego. He became the confident version of me, saying and singing things I didn’t always have the guts to express out loud. His debut song was “Glow Up Nip Tuck” — a cheeky, satirical bop about transformation, beauty, and chasing validation with style. And then came TØNIQ. Tonic came after J!N, and she’s just as much a part of me — maybe even more personal. She’s the voice I use when I want to express something more vulnerable, more tender. Her story began with a surreal image I imagined for a project called Superpop — a fish floating through the sky in dreamy, glowing bubbles. I had already posted “I Am Superpop” online, but I couldn’t let that visual go to waste. So I wrote a new song: “What Do You Dream?” — and from there, her world started to unfold. Now this playlist is a growing collection of both their stories — the fun, the satire, the drama, the dreams, and the emotional detours in between. Thanks for being here. Whether you’re laughing, crying, or dancing — I hope you find something in here that hits you right. 🎭🍸💫
