Steve McWilliam (SteveMcBill) is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist from Runcorn, Cheshire, UK who has been playing since 1973 (aged 23) Steve is a long term user of TablEdit (a software music notation/tab system) for writing down his arrangements and compositions for solo acoustic guitar. He met Kieran 'Fish' Carr in work and Kieran was a driving force in keeping Steve motivated and interested - a great friend and playing partner. In the late 90's they formed the Tape 'n' Tab Club (T'n'T) and had many fingerstyle guitarist friends from around the UK stay over at Runcorn for 3 to 4 times per year. This entailed everyone sleeping on the floor each night though very little sleeping was done with the main focus being on guitar playing and a secondary one on drinking. Most of the tabs provided for free over at: http://www.stevemcwilliam.co.uk/guitar and shown on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@tapentabclub..., come from the period when the club was most active (late 70 and early 80s). Now the club continues as an international Zoom meeting, online, once per month. Members of the club (past and present) can be seen/heard playing on YouTube over at: https://www.youtube.com/@tapentabclub... #fingerstyleguitar #fingerstyle #acousticguitar #tabs #songs #tunes
