You Can Call Me Bobby, You Can Call Me Zimmy

I think I probably have around 25 videos of Bob Dylan songs scattered about on my channel. I thought I would just gather together an album's worth here (about an hour long), and create a playlist for anyone interested in my mostly clawhammer renderings of some of Zimmy's zongz. It's always my objective to try to bring something new to the songs - I'm never trying to reproduce the original records. These were all, but one, recorded in live performances at Montreal's Yellow Door Coffeehouse, Canada's oldest folk music coffeehouse. On some songs, either Gareth Dicker, alone, or both Bashu Naimi-Roy (accordion) and Gareth Dicker (violin) sit in spontaneously, with no rehearsal, run-through or prior discussion, usually with no foreknowledge of the song itself. Those 4 tracks are my favourites.
