Welcome to my unique WATCH-SCARLATTI project. It is a series of videos in which I created visuals of my Scarlatti recordings. The visuals are not just a mere accompaniment but a unique way to enhance the listening experience and provide a deeper understanding of the music. I believe that, willingly or not, when we listen to Scarlatti's music, we visualize those intricate lines that intertwine and create a harmonious masterpiece. These videos will make the intricate lines of those gem Sonatas visible, enhancing our appreciation of the complexity and beauty of his music. They also serve as an educational tool, providing a deeper understanding of the structure and interplay of the musical elements. I make my recordings on a MIDI-equipped grand piano, and I use that MIDI data to create those videos. The visual representations genuinely bring the music to life. The combination of sound and visuals allows for a deeper understanding of the music and its intricacies. For example, in all sonatas, the various contrapuntal lines can be seen weaving in and out of each other, creating a rich tapestry of sound. By visually representing melodic lines on screen as it is played, viewers can better follow along with the complexity of the piece and appreciate the skill required to perform it. This unique approach to music visualization enhances our understanding of baroque compositions and adds a new layer of depth to our listening experience. You can find all my recordings on all music distribution sites. Please consider exploring my compositions, and if you are a video creator, consider licensing the audio for your own productions. Thank you for being so supportive, and I hope you enjoy the music!
