They share a passion for Brazilian music, a classical background—both having opera singers as fathers—and of course, a love for jazz and improvisation. Together, these elements provide the perfect foundation for a beautiful musical collaboration. Mike and Femke perform not only a few well-known, but especially many lesser-known pieces by renowned Brazilian composers such as Jobim, Chico Buarque, and Milton Nascimento. Mike del Ferro is known for his lyrical playing, while Femke captivates with her moving interpretations, making you almost forget that you don’t speak Portuguese. The result is a journey through the rich musical landscapes of Brazil. Their debut album, "Sintonia," songs from Brazil will be released in early 2025 on all digital platforms, with a physical release to follow.
