About “Yelawolf Blacksheep” Yelawolf Blacksheep is the first collaborative album by Alabama rapper Yelawolf and Florida rapper Caskey (aka the Blacksheep). The pair first came together in 2019 by featuring on each other’s songs, “No Such Thing as Free” and “Remember.” The two reunited in 2020 for the “McQueen Fiend” Remix, which ultimately led to the duo locking in and creating an album’s worth of material. The features on the album are DJ Paul from Three 6 Mafia and Cub da CookUpBoss. Production was handled by Taysty, Locke, The Lex Factor, and a handful of others. Taysty served as executive producer and contributed to more than half of the instrumentals. The album was recorded in late 2020 at the House of Blues Studios of Nashville, Tennessee. Behind the scenes footage of the recording process was uploaded to YouTube on Yelawolf’s channel (days 1 and 2).
