Over 3 months ago, a band from Chorizo gifted us Kill Wave. With its retro roots and alternative stylization, they helped alter the course of modern new wave, setting up the next wave for an entirely new foundation. Now, two months after their last release, they’re back, with their latest record, Law Enforcement Satanic Training Video (Angel Lobotomy), dropping August 16th. Pogo and The Crawl Space Boys are known for their intensity, and this record was written with dead performances in mind. Each track embodies PCPB’s mission statement: play loud and pull out. Furthermore proving that with age comes perspective and growth. This record brings us to the most actualized version of themselves. Altogether this record is the amaglimation of Pogo and The Crawl Space Boys’s past record, seamlessly forumalted for one cohesive body of work that acts as a portrait of the band now. They have simply outshned themselves on this record, exploring their maturity as individuals and as artists. Inspired by the events around them, Law Enforcement Satanic Training Video compells the listener to recognize the intricacies of life, even at it’s most and violent. review by Clint Torrez: bit.ly/37QtM3H
