KayCee Galano's Carnegie Hall Debut with all six Bach Solo Sonatas and Partitas earned her a rousing standing ovation in Weill Recital Hall on Oct. 12, 2019. These videos were recorded at the dress rehearsal three days before the Carnegie Hall event on October 9, 2019, in Montclair, New Jersey. KayCee Galano became an overnight sensation and a National Treasure in her home country of the Philippines in October 2018 when she played a stellar performance of Bruch's violin concerto with the Philippine Philharmonic in Manila. She only had a few days notice to replace a scheduled soloist. KayCee and Prof. Sassmannshaus first met in Beijing at the 2011 Great Wall Academy. She did not have a teacher in Brunei (Island of Borneo) where her family lives. After years of Skype lessons and summers in Beijing, KayCee moved to Cincinnati in 2016 and joined the Starling Pre-College program. Since Autumn 2018 she has been a Starling Fellow in the CCM Starling Class of Kurt Sassmannshaus
