Earth is a dead. Humanity fled to the stars, only to find a different kind of grave in the vacuum of space. For Drill Engineer John Greaves, survival is a gamble, one he’s currently losing. Broke and lost, he accepts a classified mission: to find out why a GOLIATH mining rig went silent, and bring it back. It was all supposed to be routine. But as the air locks hiss, and the power is turned on, Greaves and his crew realise the ship isn’t empty. Something is nesting in the dark, a cosmic extinction event with a heartbeat. And it wants to come home.
