Nashaz is a band from Brooklyn, New York, led by oud player and composer Brian Prunka. Bringing together the maqam tradition of Arabic and Turkish music with the vibrant rhythms and improvisational approach of jazz, Nashaz seeks a union of these two rich traditions.
