The Haldi ceremony, also known as "Pithi ceremony" or "Turmeric ceremony," is a traditional pre-wedding ritual in Indian weddings. It typically takes place a few days before the wedding day. During the ceremony, a paste made from turmeric, sandalwood, rose water, and other ingredients is applied to the bride and groom's face, hands, and feet by family members and friends. Turmeric is believed to have purifying and beautifying properties, and the ceremony symbolizes the cleansing of the bride and groom before their wedding day. It is also said to bring a glow to their skin. The Haldi ceremony is usually accompanied by singing traditional songs, dancing, and joyous celebrations among family and friends. It's a significant event that strengthens bonds between families and marks the beginning of the wedding festivities. #Haldi #Haldisongs #Haldisong #weddingsongs
