Monk Wilson and I met at The Willow House in Phoenix in 1994? I had a live tape from Tony's New York Lounge in Tempe called "Hey Baby" and Monk had a tape he traded for mine called "The Raging Monk" ....The Raging Monk became my favorite tape given to me in person by the artist himself...for many years. Monk and I lost track of one another until about a year ago when I had started making and posting these videos having tried to locate Monk to no aviail..Shortly after I posted the videos with his name all over them..I got a call from Monk. He is alive and well in San Antonio TX. Thanks Monk for these amazing songs!
