More To The Story

More To The Story is an aural representation of the things that I have done to become a musician and an artist up to this point. The road was very long and very hard at times but it is all worth it without a shadow of a doubt. The songs on this LP as very simple but very potent because I have found that to be the best formula for mass digestion. Just like any other language, I think music is at its very best when the creator spends the time to think about the different points of consumption in great detail and when the creator uses that information to shape and mold the very process itself. For production, I wanted to focus on live drums. To me, the drum set is the corner stone of the feels and vibes that I wanted to achieve with these productions and with the other instruments falling in to their respective roles and the drums at the lead, the compostions and productions can run parallel in tandem and compliment each other appropriately. Drums & Bass for "Sixes", Drums for "Heat To Drop", "The Formula" and "Live The Good Life" were recorded by Lance Koehler at Minimum Wage Recording in Richmond, Virginia All other instruments and samples were recorded at Dinah Recording in Richmond, Virginia Produced by Tennishu for James Infinite All songs written by Marcus James Tenney Artwork by Derrick Tenney ©2024 James Infinite
