'Italian Sojourn' is the global destination project from producer Villa Dayze (Stephen Brown). Reflecting on his travels across Italy, the album seamlessly fuses signature contemporary electronic production with traditional acoustic warmth to capture the true spirit of Italy The project features Florence-based multi-instrumentalist Vieri Sturlini. His virtuoso guitar and mandolin performances provide the organic soul of the series, offering a unique blend of timeless Italian musicality and modern versatility. The cover art and evolving visual landscapes were developed by acclaimed Italian illustrator and lead creative Andrea Rubele. Across the 14-track series, the artwork creates an iconic, coastal seaside landscape representative of the collective imagination of Italy. With each weekly release, the design evolves through 14 different temporal moments—moving sequentially from morning to night to portray the narrative of a beautiful, typical Italian day.
