Thank God For Drugs was the original title for Kanye West's sixth studio album Yeezus (2013). Work on the album began in 2012 but accelerated in 2013 when more producers got on board for the project, thus allowing more content to leak. So much content was produced that up to three and a half hours of an album was made, which was reduced and refined by Rick Rubin before release.
