FINK * MARXER * GLEAVES Trio

Multi- Grammy Award winners CATHY FINK & MARCY MARXER find common ground with SAM GLEAVES in the music they love from Appalachia as well as contemporary songs that embrace singing for and about social justice. They combine their fiddles, banjos, mandolin and guitars into a tradition bearing, songwriting, multi-instrumental, hot-licks, rich harmony singing, inter-generational supergroup. With nearly forty years between them in age (Sam is 25 yrs. old while CF & MM are 60-somethings), the trio proves that some music is ageless.
