This is the main playlist for all video game inspired music. Here you'll find: SoundFont Mashups: swapping the sounds of my favourite video game music of all time, to sounds from completely different consoles or games that I also loved. On the surface this is a silly idea, but there is absolute adoration for every sound or tune I use, I'm doing these for my own nostalgia purposes firstly. I do my best to make these sound as good as I can, trying to bring a unique touch through my choices in instrumentation, new harmonies and changes to the melodies or key, and new percussion and tempo to often completely change the genre and feel of the original song, while staying faithful to the composition of the original. Other Video Game remixes, covers etc: Any type of cover or remix really, including orchestrations, remixes, medleys... probably at some point live covers with real instruments, but in general I always attempt to do something unique in some way with anything I do here! Original video game inspired music: Music inspired by my favourite games of all time. A lot of Silent Hill inspired stuff, and Genesis chiptune stuff mostly inspired by Sonic (unashamed fanboy here). I love so many video game sound tracks and trying to make my own is my biggest passion in life :) this stuff is my more serious music and will be available for purchase on my bandcamp page https://www.scottarc.bandcamp.com but is always completely free to stream here :) I really hope you guys like this stuff! Meme/parody remixes: I've made a few of these ages ago, and I may continue with them if I ever feel the desire to... These are for the more immature people out there haha. No one is going to read this far. Unless you are. In which case thank you. I love you.
