These six pieces composed by Pedro H. da Silva and Lucía Caruso, founders of the Manhattan Camerata, were inspired by renowned South Korean artist Ahae’s photography and poetry. In essence, this is a photo-scoring project. Each piece is like a little tone-poem which asks the listener to consider a different aspect of nature from an emotional, firsthand-experience standpoint. Though cinematic in harmony and texture, these pieces are unconstricted by filmic time-frames — this freedom allows them to develop a lifespan of their own.
