The 13th official album from In The Branches, and the solo project's 24th release on Bandcamp [ http://theadaptive.bandcamp.com ]. Planetary Confinement is a psychedelic, almost ritualistic treatment of the guitar -- including lap steel, electric, acoustic, and 7-string -- in the way In The Branches prefers it. Somewhere between space music and improvised guitar noodling. Everything, as usual, is twisted into oblivion with hardware effects and loopers, blended with field recordings and mysterious textures.
