Countdown Red (Complete Mission) by Fused is a concept album that imagines a retro-futuristic space race between the United States and the Soviet Union. Released initially in 2021, it combines synthpop and electronic soundscapes to capture the tension and excitement of this fictional race to Mars. The album features tracks like "Project Red Planet", “The Kosmos 419 Mix” and “Viking Lander Club Mix" evoking the atmosphere of space exploration in a stylized, Cold War era setting, blending nostalgia with modern production elements.
