Friday, November 3, 2017 was a special day for Midnight North. A huge sold out show at a legendary San Francisco venue. Friends and family surrounding us onstage and off. Our own horn section of course, because as Bob Weir told us, “horns on the weekends”. And a 48 track recording rig capturing the whole thing. Now we’re very excited to announce our new live album, “Selections from the Great American Music Hall”! This album features 8 of our favorite tracks from that special night. All 8 songs have unique arrangements and featured guests, including Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mihali Savoulidis & Ryan Dempsey of Twiddle, and the Northbound Horns. The list of highlights on this album is prodigious. We have Midnight North favorites “Under the Lights” & “Miss M” with all new horn arrangements, Mihali rocking Twiddle's hit “Lost in the Cold” & Bob Weir tuggin' at our heartstrings with his amazing “Only a River” before leading us through a rollickin' version of the Grateful Dead’s “The Music Never Stopped” with Phil Lesh and more.
