I grew up in a family of entertainers. My mother Vivienne Chering was a professional singer and musician and came out of show business in 1974 after a 15 month spell in “Jesus Christ Superstar” at the Palace Theatre, London in order to concentrate on raising me and my younger sister Julia. My father was Chubby Oates; an actor, comedian, fire eater, Guinness world record holder, writer and journalist. Sadly Chubby passed away back in 2006 and is sorely missed. This channel, to be updated shortly will include many of Viv´s recordings including her band days with The Davernettes (1963) and Flip and the Dateliners (1964) and many other solo performances never heard publicly before., In 1986 Vivienne (shown on my thumbnail picture above) reconnected with her gifts and continues to write, compose and sing to this day producing some wonderfully inspirational music with her incredible voice. Vivienne's albums from 1986 onwards can be found here www.youtube.com/@susandeeley7729 . I hope these videos will provide a nostalgic step back into the past and the show biz world of the 1960´s. Proud of you Mum XXXX For more history on Vivienne and her bands please see my playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
