Just goofing off in the garage. I brought my old Emerson out to the garage after purchasing a much better piano. The Emerson is the piano I grew up on, and have kept it in my house since I finished grad school. We have a LOT of good memories together, but there just isn't room in my house for four pianos, and the old girl is, objectively speaking, of much lower quality than the others. So, she had to go. I started dismantling her, keeping some of the nice wood for various projects and memories, but I quickly realized it's pretty darn fun having an old beat-up piano in the garage! I like recoding on it, because there's almost no pressure to be at my best, since the piano, acoustics and recording devices are all lousy. Hey, just go for it!
