The Top Ten Record Club was a short lived run of singles, 10 being of current chart hits and then a Christmas one by the Mike Sammes Singers. The last 2 were billed as Peter Sterling’s Record Club and came in a picture sleeve. This was one of many spellings of Peter lee Stirling who was a producer as well as performer, releasing several singles under his own name and then later under the stage name of Daniel Boone (Beautiful Sunday being his big hit in 1972). So popular were these releases that 4 managed to make it into the official UK EP chart. I have all of the releases on the label and I’ll add them over the next couple of weeks as I get them ready.
