Mzizi, having already made his mark as a talented guitarist and vocalist on several projects from some of our favorite artists, is now stepping into the spotlight with his highly anticipated debut EP, Katara. This project is a vibrant fusion of his Sotho heritage, both in culture and language, while seamlessly blending the musical influences of past collaborators like Kelvin Momo, George Lesley, Babalwa M, Stixx, Yumbs, and Cnethemba Gonelo, among others. Katara not only showcases Mzizi's well-honed guitar skills but also shines a spotlight on his emerging vocal talents, an area in which he’s quickly gaining recognition. The EP is a heartfelt expression of Mzizi’s artistry, balancing deep cultural roots with the collaborative spirit of modern South African music.
