Hd Substance - Leslie Nielsen It’s always a pleasure to release an album, even more if this album comes from the hands and machines of Hd Substance. During a musical journey made of ten tracks, the Spanish veteran shows his synthesizer and drum machine skills, cooking this recording all out of the box. All of them executed using the inner sequencers of the machines when possible and also using hardware sequencers. All tracks were recorded in one take with no edits. No computers were involved in the creation of this collection, although all of them have been made during winter / spring 2021. The intention in this work was to use the same techniques and instruments used in the making of his first releases in the nineties plus some new ones to reflect the evolution and trademark sound he has achieved during his 30 year spanning career. As the tunes were made using classic working methods, the track titles are names of also “classic” cinema actors from the past century, hence the album title. Hd Substance likes to refer to its machines as his band, so here you have the band members: Sequencers Elektron Digitakt Arturia Beatstep Pro Drums Elektron Analog Rytm Mk1 Elektron Digitakt Roland Tr 909 Roland Tr 808 Roland Tr 8_7x7 Novation Drumstation 2 Poly Synths Elektron Analog Four Novation Peak Roland Jv 2080 Roland Juno 66 Tubbutec Arturia Micro Freak Korg Volca FM Mono Synths Moog Sub Phatty Roland Sh 101 Korg Ms 20 Roland Tb 303 Polyend Medusa Arturia Minibrute Behringer Odyssey Behringer Neutron Pioneer Toraiz As 1 Roland Tb 3 Mixing Yamaha 01V Fx Yamaha EMP 100 Boss Re_ 20 Zoom Ms 70CDR Tc Electronics Finalizer Express Recording Pioneer Da 05 DAT Recorder Supported by A Thousand Details, Akenaton, Alavux, Alessandro Adriani, Amby Iguous, Beatburguer, Chromatic, Club Furies, Como Las Grecas, Damian Harris, Dave Miller (Abstract Division), David Humo, David Martin, Dark Underground Podcast, Drox, Drucal, Exium, Furtive, Gabriella Vergilov, Ghost In The Machine, G02, Joton, JX-216, Kaiser, Luke Slater, Marco Faraone, Minus Magnus, M.R.E.U.X, NDR-5, Noncompliant, NVNTR, Oblique, RNGD, Romain Frequency, Saurio, Siglo XXI (Radio 3), Slam, Stephanie Sykes, Subtechno Zone, Takaaki Itoh, The Last Future, Tracklistings, Voidloss, Who Music Magazine, Wicked Style and more.
