Mix up of 20 Sea Shanties and Forebitters sung by Sailors, Shantymen and Pirates. Historical and Traditional emphasis with lively beats to lift your spirits and melancholy and stories of our wondrous shared history. Excellent selection of nautical images, photos and mugshots of all kinds of Sea Dogs good bad and of course ugly. Put together by Brian of Holcombe and the Shantymen of Devon. Great singers from our past and tracks from our current singers of sea shanties. Forebitters tell the stories of landlubber who ended up at sea. The work shanties are carried forward to remind us how the muscle power was 'purchased' from those hard sailing men and the soldiers who were being transported to wars. Thank you for listening.
