Ching Juhl is a concert violist, music educator, and filmmaker. She has performed with the Jade String Trio, Phoenix Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera, Shanghai Symphony, on Broadway, and with the orchestras of Rod Stewart and Perry Como. She has taught Music Appreciation, Orchestral Studies, and Jazz at St. Joseph’s College, Long Island University, and New York public schools. She currently teaches violin/viola at Music Studio Manhattan. Juhl holds degrees from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Indiana University (M.M. in Viola Performance, with a minor in Violin Teaching). She offers private violin and viola lessons, as well as coaching in chamber music, orchestral studies, music appreciation, and theory.
