Symphony for Brass Band

Visit https://sorabjiorchestralmusic.wordpr... for more music and information The first two movements were written in the 1980s whilst at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under the tutelage of the late lamented Buxted Orr and performed by the GSMD Brass Band. The third movement was completed after leaving college in the early 90s and received a run through by the London Collegiate Brass. The final movement was completed in the mid 90’s and is yet to receive a live performance. I have tinkered with the piece on and off since and made some major revisions in 2018 particularly to the first and last movement. Still waiting for a live performance I have created a virtual performance using Sibelius notation software and the Vienna Symphonic Library.
