Dominic Duval ‎– Nightbird Inventions

Double Bass, Bass [Chamber] – Dominic Duval. Recorded at Rockin Reel Studios, East Morthport, NY. Cadence Jazz Records ?– CJR 1072, 1997. =========== Personal note =========== Dominic Duval left a large discography. I like a lot of his recordings. Trio X albums of course and NoBusiness releases that I heard long before the official release date. But my favorite and most precious item is an autographed CD "Nightbird Inventions". In my opinion this is one of the most outstanding solo bass recordings in improvised music. Dominic Duval died less than a month ago. But the gift of his music is with us forever!
