Proteus

PROTEUS is a band from Nashville, TN. Their style is a blend of many influences, with a focus on progressive rock and electronic music. In 2013, lead vocalist/guitarist Brandon Adams began writing a play that would eventually become an album concept. This concept slowly evolved until it became apparent that it would be more than just an album -- it needed to become a full-fledged music endeavor. PROTEUS has become a vehicle through which members Brandon Adams, Valerie Adams, and Mitch Davis (with the help of several talented friends) are able to tell musical stories, push genre boundaries, and write lyrics without limitations. The band's first full album, PROMETHEIA I: Arrival, marks the beginning of a series of albums within the same storyline, following the same characters. It sets the stage for what will come from this band in the future. We hope you enjoy our music. -Brandon, Valerie, and Mitch
