After a two-decade-long software engineering career, I set out to fulfill my childhood dream of making music. What motivated me was a simple yet powerful question: If this was the last year of my life, what would I regret not having done? As much as I love tech, music has always been my most significant unrealized potential. Now that the musical floodgates have opened in my life wider than ever, my emotional senses are exploding. I feel the beauty of stories, struggles, love, loneliness, nature, and life with a depth I’ve never known before. I experience an overwhelming urge to capture these feelings in music, which becomes a lifelong endeavor I like to call “A Soundtrack to Life”. It is incredibly rewarding to share my feelings with you this way. Some think AI will replace musicians, but in my experience, I've never felt a stronger need for human-made things. AI has extraordinary utility, but in art, the deepest resonance comes from the actual lived experience. As the world fills with AI-generated content, my urge to create as a human grows stronger.
