Founded by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter, Todd Parker, Tadpoles made a name for themselves as a Neo-psychedelic indie band from NYC/Hoboken in the 1990's with 4 critically acclaimed studio album releases and a live album recorded at 1997's Terrastock festival in Providence, RI, before disbanding in 2000. After Tadpoles disbanded, David Max, Nick Kramer & Adam Boyette formed the group "HIT" and released an EP while contributing songwriting to "It Don't Rain in Beverly Hills", by Dean & Britta. David Max eventually joined the seminal, influential group, Psychic TV (PTV3) and recorded and co-wrote 2 albums and toured the world before moving to Switzerland and releasing several solo albums. Nick Kramer focused heavily on recording and engineering projects with Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3/Spectrum/EAR), MGMT, Cheval Sombre, PTV3 and Panda Bear. Todd Parker released 4 studio albums, a live album, several singles & EPs as Todd Parker and The Witches, while overseeing the Tadpoles’ back catalog and archival releases. 25 years after their last show, (a sold-out February 2000 concert at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, NJ) Tadpoles (Todd Parker, David Max and Nick Kramer) are back. "Tadpoles - Make Believe EP" which was mixed by Sonic Boom was released on vinyl and digital by NYC boutique label The Sound of Sinners in November 2025, followed by a remixed version of the EP in 2026, "Make Believe - Smoky Remix." A new 14 song double album, Timeseeker, is a forthcoming in 2027.
