As Osmosphere, Swiss electronic musician Olivier Schmid, produces Electronic Pop - inspired by Trip-Hop and House. His music sounds organic, warm and slightly atmospheric. Thanks to collaborations with other artists / singer the songs become rich in variation. Olivier discovered his love for music at an early age and he began to take piano lessons - at the beginning classical music - later Jazz and Pop. Olivier began producing his own music in his youth. He played bass guitar, keyboard and was background singer in different bands (Pop, Funk, Rock). One of these bands won the prize as best newcomer band at the Brienzer Rockfestival. With the remote duo “Klangunion” (Swiss / Canada) they achieved the 4. place at a songwriter contest of the magazine “Sound & Recording” and also made it to local Radio (RaBe) and Television (Lolly).
