Juanda Sipahutar

Juanda Sipahutar, widely recognized by his stage name D.A.T.A, is a prominent DJ and music producer from Medan, Indonesia. His musical journey began in high school as a keyboardist for the metalcore band Day of Emergency in 2009. Transitioning to electronic music in 2012, Juanda focused on honing his production skills, and by 2013, he launched his solo project, D.A.T.A. His innovative approach to blending genres quickly garnered attention in the electronic music scene. By 2024, Juanda had solidified his focus on House, Indie Dance and Dark Disco. His music is distinguished by a fusion of industrial, psychedelic, and acid elements. His achievements have earned him a reputation as a leading figure in Medan's electronic music scene, highlighted by his victory in the 2016 Djakarta Warehouse Project DJ Hunt, one of Southeast Asia's premier events. In addition to his musical pursuits, Juanda has made significant contributions to the arts and creative community. He founded Subnest, a digital record label, and remains actively involved in its operations. Moreover, he is a key member of the local DJ community and management group, Monohouse. Juanda has also been featured in various national media outlets, including Qubicle (Digital Media), KissFM (Radio), OzRadio (Radio), Backroom Riritv (Digital Media), and Chatterroom (Digital Media), further cementing his influence and presence in the industry.
