Ebony QuShae' is a Black woman music producer, beatmaker, composer, and multidisciplinary creative based in Houston, Texas. Her work moves fluidly between experimental jazz, trip-hop, hip-hop, ambient music, cinematic soundscapes, and bass-driven production building immersive sonic worlds around rhythm, memory, emotion, and imagination. Beyond music, Ebony's creative practice spans visual storytelling, writing, technology, and culture. She holds an MBA in Finance from Purdue University, bringing an unconventional background to an artistic practice rooted in curiosity, experimentation, and the freedom to create outside of traditional boxes. Each release becomes its own world sometimes reflective, sometimes nostalgic, sometimes futuristic, but always intentional. Her work explores music as environment and storytelling rather than formula, with projects ranging from jazz-rooted beat tapes to Afrofuturist concepts and cinematic instrumental albums. Expanded concepts, creative process, and cultural reflections are explored further through her essays and writing on Substack.
