It was March 29th, 1992--Kevin Donte Caldwell (later known as Suavéy), a native born and raised in Rochester, NY made his grand entrance. 
From the very beginning Kevin took a liking to the stage. At the tender age of 7, he discovered his love for music while being exposed to the musical nature of his church. He grew and admiration and ear for music from sitting by the Sax and Organ players at his church's Sunday services. Eventually he later joined in by singing in the soprano section of his choir, and becoming a part of his elementary school choir. 
 The early exposures only lit a fire under young Kevin’s passions and urge to learn more musically. He began to teach himself how to play piano by ear around middle school. As a young adult he decided to further his academics and talent at Finger Lakes Community College by majoring in Music Recording Technology. That was the final part of the equation. He began creating his own music from scratch. He composed the beats, wrote his own lyrics, edited, and mixed his own beats and vocals. He was officially a one man team...Suavéy had been born. 
 With the musical influences of the 90's, Lauryn Hill, Monica, Michael Jackson, Tupac, Biggie, Jay-Z, Earth, Wind and Fire, and the Temptations... his musical taste varies wide and eclectic. In fact, they have provided him the musical capabilities of a chameleon…AND-- due to his passion in his art; he’s currently burning a fiery red. ~ Afrodite
