Wav Gardn is a South African Neo Futuristic Soul band from Pretoria, Gauteng. The band features lead vocalist Siiisa , music director, producer & curator Johnny Basz, Finny the producer guy with the great ear , Lungsta the people’s keyboardist and drummer superstar Tumiso warmly known as De’tumi. Wav Gardn is home to the true self-reflection, warmth and kindness of the music they want to put out into the world, a synth wave of love and restorative experiences. The kind of music that feels like a sonic hug. The band’s music is a blend & mixture of different genres including experimental alternative, spiritual elements of soul, and sounds that feels like home or a warm cup of coffee. The band is set to release their debut album in 2025. The album will explore various musical themes including Afro-soul, alternative RnB and African folk.
