Young Ekko

Young Ekko is a 26-year-old independent artist from Egypt, known for his melodic fusion of Hip-hop and R&B. He began his journey by sharing heartfelt covers of artists like Juice WRLD, Lil Skies, Lil Mosey, and Lxst, capturing attention with a sound that felt both familiar and fresh. On December 11th, 2022, Ekko made his official debut with the single “Bad Habits” followed by “Telling Them” laying the groundwork for his signature style. Drawing inspiration from Midwxst, Scorey, and Lil Loski, his music explores growth, ambition, and the struggle to find identity through sound. In September 2024, Young Ekko released his first full-length album, "Faded", a deeply personal project that marked both a milestone in his life and a leap in his journey, Entirely self-written and self-produced, the album dives all in into a year's worth of emotion, growth, and personal consistency. Determined to improve, each track revealed a different shade of his sound, blending elements of hip-hop, pop, trap, afro, and R&B. To further his independence, Ekko founded his own label, Xanny Records, a space built to give full creative control to himself and future artists who share the same hunger and vision. Every song released under Xanny Records is recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely on his phone, a bold testament to the power of passion over polish.
