Yvng Tella is an artist/entrepreneur who was raised in New York. From the early age of 3, he began to study instruments such as the guitar, piano, and drums due to his passion for swaying his head to cartoon theme songs, instrumental beats, or anything that had any sort of music in it. Around the age of 9, Tella began working with a voice coach because his family always commented on how beautiful his voice was. It was not until June 2018 when Tella started to write music himself. Besides music, Tella has been involved in many sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, and track from a young age. After being sidelined from action due to an ankle injury, this left time to discover new hobbies; one of those hobbies was songwriting. The injury from basketball made him upset, and creating music was an outlet to express how he felt. Not only that, but music helped Tella get through all of the personal problems in his life, primarily the absence of his father. Growing up surrounded by music has played a significant impact on the development of Tella’s flows and melodic style. Now, two years later, he has amassed over 12 million streams in the last 10 Months across all platforms, independently. Tella knew that his voice needed to be heard, and since day one, he has put his mind to making that happen. The world is Tella’s for the taking.
