Artdob

Arturo Huidobro “Artdob” is a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. Born in the massive metropolis of Mexico City, he emigrated to Melbourne, Australia, at a young age, where he spent 8 years of his life and found his musical calling. Coming from a bohemian musical family, music always came very natural to Artdob. At the age of 7, and without taking a single piano lesson, he would sit down and play simple but beautiful melodies, impressing his parents’ friends at dinner parties. Artdob developed a deep passion for electronic music in his teens, where he started DJing and producing. He would then discover his voice had a very different texture that people seemed to respond to, which is why he started incorporating catchy vocal melodies and smart lyrics to his productions, that is now part of what makes his unique sound.
