In September 2022 Byrnes celebrated his seventh straight #1 hit single “One Honky Tonk Town” off his forthcoming album “Keep Up With A Cowgirl”. DAB co-produced the album with Bart Busch and features some of his #1 hit singles and a few never before heard songs, a couple of those very dear to his heart. “I Find A Reason” is his favorite, a song he held expressly for this album and the most streamed song on Spotify. “Like I’m Elvis” is a direct connect to his heart having always dreamed he would find that person who would love him unconditionally, which he found in his fiancé Amanda whom he will wed in 2023. The title-track brought Durango Boots into the mix who partnered with Byrnes on the music video that was premiered by Cowboys & Indians Magazine. The video stands as a celebration of the National Day of the Cowgirl and features video of their Team Durango pro female athletes including Stevi Hillman, Jordon Briggs, Lisa Lockhart and Kelsie Domer. Add in the four acoustic tracks for ambiance sake and the one throwback cover that Byrnes puts on every album, “Keep Up With A Cowgirl” is sixteen tracks long of pure country music delight. A lot of attention is being paid to DAB these days with 10 million total streams, over 100,000 social media followers, and a double win at the 2022 Arkansas Country Music Awards as Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Wide Open Country hit the nail on the head when they branded him “Artist To Watch” in 2021.
