SaxXx

Marcellus Moore, known as “SaXx,” is a proud Washingtonian whose passion for music began in his teens, performing live with bands across the DMV (DC, MD, & VA). His deep love for the saxophone and music creation spans decades, and now he’s bringing that energy to the world through personal recordings from his private home studio—starting with his debut album, WayOverdue. Inspired early on by Chuck Brown, the Godfather of Go-Go, Marcellus has stayed connected to his community, creating music that honors that legacy while carving his own path. Known as "GoGo SaXx" while locally live performing (DMV SaXx - Studio Productions), he thrives on the excitement of live audiences and the electric energy they bring to every performance. After years of planning, Marcellus is ready to share carefully curated tracks that reflect his unique style and vision. Following his self-produced first album, expect collaborations and solo features with talented artists as SaXx continues his journey to deliver music that moves the soul.
