Born and raised in the vibrant musical landscape of West London, Tayah is a vocalist, songwriter, producer, and performer whose Fusion-Soul sound is a genre-bending blend of rare groove, R&B, soul, funk, jazz, and Caribbean influences. Growing up across various households filled with physical records and an ever-present radio, music remained her constant, infusing nostalgic warmth into a modern perspective deeply rooted in her identity. At the heart of her artistry is an exploration of identity, sensuality, liberation, and becoming, where lyricism and sonics come together to create music made to be felt as much as heard. Across her EPs Wonderer of the West (2020) and Still Wonders (2023), Tayah has built a distinct universe, earning support from BBC Radio 1, KISS, Clash Magazine, and Global Soul Radio, alongside performance highlights at Southbank Centre, Lovebox Festival, and Notting Hill Carnival. Currently rolling out her third EP, Tayah continues expanding her Fusion-Soul sound into a performance-led world where classic soul meets modern rhythm.
