I'm from Wales and now live in New Jersey just outside NYC. My background is as a recording and mix engineer, working in the UK and the US, with quite a bit of work at Abbey Rd Studios. I love engineering, but my greatest love is making music. I want to find out what's there. My influences include Claus Ogerman, Pat Metheny, Led Zeppelin, Terrence Malick, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Steve Reich, Steely Dan, Zbigniew Preisner, Yves Klein. My first album 'Sinking Upwards' was a response to New York City when I came to live in America. I was listening to a lot of Massive Attack at the time and was really influence by their sound. My second album 'Whisper Truth to Power' is about the power of truth. I set myself the challenge of making all the tracks quite long, they're all around 9-10 minutes. My third album 'The Echo and the Mirror' will be released in Winter 2023. On this one I'm experimenting with time signatures and key signatures a bit more. Having a lot of fun with it!
